As I am out and about after the sun sets, I see lights -- lights of all colors, sizes and shapes. I see in my mind's eye shapes and patterns of what I could make if given enough time. For me, now it is more about finding that light source that I can transform into an image. An image, until it exists in my camera, only exists in my imagination.
Imagine every light you see as a endlessly primed paint brush that is fixed in place. Now see the paint shooting straight at you from every brush and none of them will EVER run out of paint. You can't move or touch the paint or the brushes. So what do you do but put a canvas in its way to catch that paint as it shoots past you. Welcome to my world!

For those of you visiting my DA site for the first time, I thank you for taking time to view my work.

I agree. I take some abstrackt unfocused pix through bottles with the light in the background... most people don't get it. I also do abstrakt pastels. I got on DA to showcase my "regular" art but my train photography, though fun and cool, gets the most attention. Looking at your gallery I love your work. it is original and more than the usual fractals and such. People often just don't get it.
